INTRODUCTION TO DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY LEVEL 1
Who is it for:
These (3x) two hour sessions are aimed at anyone who owns a digital camera and would like to take it out of auto and switch to manual control, to enable them to have more options and be more creative with their camera. The level 1 sessions are more for beginners or individuals who would not be familiar with aperture control, shutter speed or ISO settings.
What will I lean:
The workshop explains the main components and functions of the camera and common terms such as focal length, depth of field, fstop etc. We then move onto the key technical aspects of digital camera control using manual settings and look at the various techniques to achieve a desired effect. This is very much a hands-on workshop with lots of camera time, trying out what was taught. This is not an acedemic level workshop, technical aspects will be expalined in simple terms and further explained whilst practacing during the workshop.
What do I need:
Your camera with a charged battery and memory card with available space. Your camera instruction manual or guide book for reference (if you dont have these, we can find digital downloads on the internet)
How many students are in the class:
There will be a maximum of three students per workshop
Who will lead the workshop:
Francis Cox will be leading the Workshop. Francis is an internationally published and exhibited photographer and owner of RAW35.
How much does the workshop cost:
£75 per person for three, 2 hour evening sessions (a £20 deposit will secure a place)
